When Josh and I were in California over Christmas break (January 2006), we went to Venice Beach to watch the sunset. I knew he already had the ring and was pretty sure he was going to propose at the beach - he is very predictable - contrary to what he may tell you. After watching the sunset Josh stood up and asked if I was ready to go. I remember thinking to myself, "I guess he is not going to propose here after all," then stood up to leave. Josh then dropped to one knee, and, as he later told me, I shouted out, "Are you really going to do it?" He asked me to marry him and of course I said yes. This is a picture of the sunset Josh took just before proposing.
This is what Josh and I gave to ourselves for Christmas this year - we love it...too bad it wasn't from Santa. For some reason I don't think we will be doing this again next year.
