Baby Blanket

Josh has two sister-in-laws that are pregnant, and one of them asked that I make a blanket for the baby blessing. This is the blanket that I made for her.

Halloween at Work

I spent Halloween night at work and all of us came in dressed up for the night. It was a lot of fun to see what everyone came up with for their Halloween costumes.
Whitney - Batman
(she is pregnant with a girl, due in February)
Denise - a chef
(also pregnant with a girl, due in January)
Sarah - a princess
Heather - the bride of Frankenstein
Me - a runner
Stephanie - in her Hawaiian dress

Shooting

Josh and I decided to go shooting Saturday afternoon. We gathered a few of the items that were in our backyard when we moved in, ran to the store to buy some bullets and things to shoot, then headed up the canyon. It had been a long time since we had been shooting and we had a blast!

This is a video of me shooting a cantaloupe with a shotgun slug. I slowed the video down so you can get a better look at the cantaloupe flying everywhere.

Tater-Topped Casserole

This is another recipe I found on http://www.recipezaar.com/ that I really enjoy.

1 pound ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
1 (10¾ oz) can cream of mushroom soup
¼ cup milk
1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 pound frozen potato nuggets

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Brown the meat and onions in a skillet, stirring occasionally; drain. Spoon into an 8”x8” baking dish. Mix soup and milk; pour over meat mixture. Top with layers of mixed vegetables, cheese and potatoes. Bake for 45 minutes or until potatoes are golden brown and casserole is heated through.
