Girl's Night Out

Friday night Skyler and I met up with my friends Shauna and Sara. Growing up Shauna and my sister Michelle were best friends and Sara and I were best friends. Shauna is Sara's older sister and before we were friends she would always tell her, "You and Kayla are going to be best friends!" My sister would also always tell me, "You and Sara are going to be best friends!" We were both in denial. Then one day out of the blue Sara called me up and asked if I wanted to hang out and that's how the friendship started! It's always fun to get together and catch up - we really need to do it more often!

Skyler is always trying to sit up, whether she is in her car seat, in your lap, or laying on the floor. She lifts up her legs and tries to pull her back away from whatever is underneath it - it's almost like she is trying to do an ab workout!

Josh's Law School Graduation

Josh is finally done with law school! His parents were able to come down on April 22nd to attend his graduation. Luckily Josh's name was one of the first to be called because shortly after Skyler became fussy and I had to take her out in the hall. Josh is starting to study for the bar and will be taking it at the end of July. He is still looking for a job and will hopefully find one soon!
