Shooting

Monday Josh and I decided to go shooting one last time before he starts law school. We found a place up the canyon that was perfect for shooting, except we had to cross the river to get to the area. Josh was carrying all of our guns across the river when one of them got caught on a branch, causing him to lose his balance and fall in the river. He ended up landing on his handgun, and had to clean it before we could shoot it. Luckily he brought his gun cleaning kit.
Here are a couple items the previous owners left in the backyard of our home - we figured they would be perfect for target practice.

Here is another ham Josh got from his work that we decided to shoot

Dinner With Friends

Last week I went to dinner with my friends Sara and Michelle. We were getting together one last time before Michelle and her family moved back to the east coast. It was a lot of fun to reminisce and laugh about old times.

New Couches

We decided that with the purchase of our home, we should get new couches too. The couches are actually dark olive green, but with the green paint they look more brown.
The best part is that they recline!

Working On Our Home

As most of you know, Josh and I have moved into our new home! It is 2000 square feet, with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. It was built in 1996, so it needed some work. There was carpet and tile in the garage because it was the model home and they used the garage as an office. One of the first things Josh did was tear up the tile and carpet. We have also done some painting and are almost done unpacking. We will be posting more pictures soon.
