Pantry

I've been wanting some shelves in our furnace room for a while to add some extra storage space. Josh bought some 2x4s and plywood and was able to quickly build this shelving unit for me. I love how much extra space it gives us!
I've also been wanting some kind of can rotation system and found some heavy-duty cardboard organizers online here. It took a few minutes to figure out how to put the first one together, but after that they went together pretty quickly.
We discovered Skyler loves tools, just like her dad. (Don't worry - we supervised her while she played with them and didn't let her anywhere near the box cutters.)

Swinging

One of the perks about the complex we live in is the little park in the middle of all the homes. Now that the weather is finally nice, I've been trying to take Skyler outside to play everyday. One of my favorite things to do is to take her out to the swings which she loves!

Grandma Mecham

We picked up my mom from the airport today!

We went to Cafe Rio for lunch

then played outside for a bit.

It's always fun to spend time with Grandma!

Skyler's Room

We FINALLY got around to putting up some decorations in Skyler's room. Josh picked up some crown moulding and built a little shelf and I got some wood letters from a local craft store and decorated them with scrapbook paper.
We love how it turned out, but are not quite sure about the location - we may be moving it in the future.
