California Vacation

A couple weeks ago Skyler and I flew out to California for a much needed vacation. We had a lot of fun and luckily my little sister Lindsay had a lot of time off and was able to spend some time with us! We headed to the beach the first day we were there and Skyler loved it!

Our last day in California, we headed to the Santa Ana Zoo. It is a pretty small zoo, but was perfect for Skyler. She loved seeing all the monkeys and other animals.

We can't wait to go back to California for some more fun!

Warm Weather

With the warm weather we had earlier last week a couple of my neighbors set up a slip n slide and a toddler pool in the play ground area. All the older kids were really good with Skyler and made sure she was having fun. She loves playing in the water and had a blast!

Easter Egg Hunt

The Saturday before Easter the city put on an Easter egg hunt. Since Skyler is still pretty young we figured it would be easiest to take her to it instead of doing a hunt for her ourselves. It turned out being pretty lame. There was a 5 egg limit per child, and there were so many people there that all the eggs were snatched up within a few seconds.

 We ended up doing an Easter egg hunt with our neighbors and their kids later that afternoon.

 Skyler was more fascinated with her friend's tricycle. I'm guessing she will be more interested in the egg hunt next year!

Playing Outside

I love that it has been warming up lately. Today was a little cooler but we still ventured outside.

My Handyman Husband

So it has been a couple of months since I have posted on my blog. We haven't been up to much so I don't really have any new pictures to share. I thought it would be a good time to share some pictures from the past. You may have already seen some of these, but I wanted to show off how handy my husband really is!
